Day 86 – Chores

Quote of the week as boys are reluctantly doing their chores, “Mommy this is not fair, you don’t have any chores to do.  You just want us to do everything.”  Oh, so you think the laundry fairy keeps your clothes clean, Santa Clause does the grocery shopping, the Easter Bunny cooks, and Mickey Mouse cleans the bathrooms?  Of course this is the initial response that came to mind, but I held back and sure enough after an hour of complaining, chores were done.  Wonder if chores are worth it? I could have done them myself (with significantly decreased complaining factor) in about 15 minutes.
