Day 188 – Frustration-free packaging?

Have actually taken longer to open some toys than the kids have played with them.  They are not only vacuum sealed in hard plastic, then they are attached with these little pieces of hard plastic and sadistic wire that resembles the ties that hold bread together but never seem to twist off in only one direction.  Someone once told me that it was to cut down on stolen property, but I have a hard time believing that an 8 month old would open box and walk out of Walmart with a 2 foot dump truck and his/her parents or an employee not apprehend him.   Regardless, today I saw an advertisement for a toy that touted “frustration free packaging”.  If you are selling toys why would you EVER want to have frustration packaging.   Too funny, but too true?
