Day 174 – Lukas vs the cat.

Lukas loves the cat, but Lukas shows love by laying on top of the cat, squeezing the cat, placing the cat in what appears to be a semi-torturous form of a headlock, and holding her captive for extended time periods in what he calls his “deep dark dungeon” (aka the storage space under his bed).  The cat has been patient and kind, but when I saw Lukie carrying her down the stairs holding her by her back legs, I figured maybe the patience would come to an end.  Instead Lukie started to drop her, cat panicked and reached up for whatever she could latch onto.  What she found was the side of Lukas’s face.  A four inch scratch down the side of the face and many tears later you would think that Lukas would get the idea,.  Leave the little animal with sharp claws and teeth alone! But the morning has shown no indication that a life lesson was learned.   Want to tell him she might scratch his eye out but afraid that would just encourage him as what could be cooler than an authentic pirate eye patch.
