New year’s eve we were visiting friends with a trampoline
(aka crack for Lukas). He decided to go
out and jump in the dark and cold, so we bundled him up and sent him out to
burn energy. 10 minutes later he
returned complaining of cold pain in his feet.
It was 27 degrees outside and he had been jumping barefoot. When I asked him why his socks were off he
said, “If it is below 50 we have to wear pants.
If it is below 40 we have to wear heavy coats. But we don’t have a house rule for when we
have to wear socks.”
